getting into sundance is probably the most notable thing on my resume. it's a huge bragging point for my family and friends. and i have to say, in the brief moments between shock and confusion, it definitely gives me a sense of pride.
that being said,
upon arriving in the beautiful state of utah, i realized quite quickly that no one gives a good gosh darn who the co-producer of a short film is.
humility is a wonderful thing. it gave me perspective. so i spent my brief time there observing and being inspired.
(and i saw a documentary about the national film registry in the library of congress that made me cry. hysterically.)
